Garfield Gathering Sale and Swap Meet

On Saturday June 25, 2011, (8am to 11am) as part of the Garfield Gathering, there will be sale and swap meet. This is open to the public and admission is free. Attendees of the Garfield Gathering will have new and used Garfield collectibles for sale or swap.

CATCH THE MOMENT

An authorized licensee, “Catch the Moment” will also be in attendance to put you right into the action with Garfield. Ride a roller coaster with Garfield. Feed Garfield Lasagna. High-Five Garfield in front of the Montauk Lighthouse, Drive an Ice Cream Truck with Garfield in tow, and pop out of a present with Garfield at Christmas time.

Catch the Moment uses patented back-lit green screen technology and special software to add you in to the picture with Garfield.

Photos will be $15 each or a show special of $39 for all 5 pictures. In order to get the reduced rate only one person may be in all five of the photos due to the amount of time that it takes to change poses and render the photos.  Photos will be provided as 5 X 7 prints, and anyone who gets their photo taken will also be able to retrieve an electronic version online and then share it around on social media.  That's pretty cool.
